The apartment

This spacious and light four bedroom apartment oozes character and is located in a prime position at the crest of the hill from Mortehoe to Woolacombe. Fully furnished, it sleeps up to eight people. The large farmhouse-style kitchen makes the space a home-from-home. The special feature, however, has to be the twin aspect lounge area with spectacular sea views. The location is unbeatable. Not only is the apartment close to the lovely beaches but is conveniently located opposite the National Trust footpath for coastal walks and is a mere 100m amble to the village pub where superb pub grub and ale is plentiful. For those who can't switch off, WIFI is available throughout.

Rooms and Facilities

Two bedrooms have sea views and kingsize and a double bed. The other two bedrooms have twin beds and a double bed. All rooms offer ample storage. There is family bathroom with bath, over-shower, W/C and basin, plus there is an additional room with W/C and basin. The chic designed kitchen is well-equipped with a table and chairs, large cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has a sofa bed, TV/DVD player and fireplace and there's also a separate dining room with doors that lead to a balcony with railings. Bounteous space for groups of friends and family to hang out. Outside you also have the use of the beautiful communal garden area, perfect for relaxing whilst admiring the views. Off-road parking for 2 cars.

The village

Step outside the front door you are in the heart of the picture postcard village of Mortehoe. Take time out of your busy lives to discover the restful magic of North Devon, whether that be enjoying local produce from the village store, a pint in the local pub, or meandering along the scenic paths to discover Woolacombe's enchanting beaches.

Activities

You won't be bored. There's plenty to do on your doorstep. You can hike, run, surf, fish, do yoga, visit art galleries, get a massage and eat fish 'n' chips on the beach. For a trip out, we highly recommend you take a short 10-minute drive to neighbouring town Ilfracombe. Here you can visit Damian Hirst's famous 66.4ft sculpture Verity, a bold figure of a pregnant woman symbolising truth and justice.

Prices range from £495 per week during the low season to £1695 per week in high season.
